Changes to our website/order processing Nov 24-Dec 7 2025

Oh HI! Thanks for checking in!

Usually this time of year we have our website completely closed during the time we are away from the studio to be present at our biggest market of the year (One of a Kind Show, Toronto)! But, we know we have friends and fans who can't make it out to the show; other upcoming markets; or visit one of our many retail partners  so we've decided to keep it open for the first time ever (while we are away) - This just means you understand that during this time, if you place an order through the Shop App or our website, it will be delayed as we are not around to process it as quickly as we normally would.

Processing Times: If you place an order between November 24th - Dec 7th, depending on volume while we are away, there is a chance your order might not be processed until after December 7th. However - even though we are away in Toronto (hours away from our studio) your support is important to us and we know Christmas gifts may be on the radar, so, there is a few sporatic time frames where we may travel back to the studio to catch up on a few things and process a few orders where time permits as well (our goal is to not have orders waiting too long, but because this is a tiny team for the holidays, please be aware of the changes during our absence at the show). Orders are fulfilled in the order of which they are recieved. Any orders that remain unfulfilled during our absence will be fulfilled by December 10th, 2025.

Changes to Local Pick-Up: Please note that local pick-up has been disabled as an option temporarily until the new year. If you are local, please visit one of our local retailers who have a tremendous amount of options while we constantly keep them full & leave behind overstock! Disabling this option for now will provide us more time in the studio to keep creating the procuts you love that need to be available in the shops & at our upcoming holiday markets!

Limited Inventory for Online:  As you could imagine with one person only having 2 hands and handcrafting every single item (that's me, Meg!, HI!) for in store, online, and for several markets... inventory is extremely limited or sold out online. (as mentioned below), our website usually shuts down early November before leaving for One of a Kind and doesn't re-open until February, but this year we are seeing how it goes managing a limited inventory before our actual online store closure mid-December allowing customers who are not so local a chance to scoop up some last minute favourites!

General Reminder when it comes to Shipping Times around the Holidays: Generally our go-to couriers are Canpar and UPS. There is almost always a Canada Post Strike happening every year which in turn brings more business to other couriers and shipping times may extend from time to time depending on the volume they recieve. Generally a parcel within Ontario will be next day, but this time of year, plan for it to take 1-4  business after your parcel has been (scanned) "picked up by the courier". Once your shipping label has been printed in the studio, the courier is scheduled to pick up next business day (but sometimes they may not show up and they end up coming 2 days later depending on volume)*.

As a small business - and no control over what happens to a parcel once it has been shipped out, we cannot make any "gaurentees" when your order will arrive (ie. you will get it before Christmas). We can only suggest that December 12th or 15th would be a "guestimated" cut-off for Ontario orders requiring shipping (earlier if from out-of-province). *Our website may close before this anyways, so just stay tuned for further updates.

Problems with your Parcel during Transit: Create a ticket immediately with the shipping courier if you suspect anything abnormal with your parcel during transit or if it is stuck in the same area for a few days and then send us an email with your ticket number so we can follow-up. You will need to speak with a customer service representitive regarding your parcel so have your tracking number handy and they can create a ticket for you.

As mentioned, once your order leaves the studio, the responsibilty becomes the couriers so please reach out to them first and then let us know so we can monitor the situation.

Website Closure for the Holidays: Typically we close our website before the One of a Kind Show (Early November) and re-open in February after a much needed break/studio shut-down. This year we are trying something new to see how we can handle the show and having our online store remain open during the busiest time. We expect to close the website mid December (official date TBA) and then remain closed for our usual shut-down until February.
